Eric Early
Eric has been in and around construction sites since the day he started walking. At a very young age he began building projects in his father’s garage with the use of basic hand tools. It was when his father, Jim, would take him to job sites that his unwavering passion for building and improving the standard began.
Eric is also a graduate of Culver High School. During his senior year of Building Trades, his instructor, Bob Trigg, invited him to work the next summer constructing an addition and remodeling a home due to his constant hard work and quality workmanship throughout the school year. He later turned his interest to post frame buildings and went to work for the same company where his father was a successful salesman. The following 2 years were spent learning the in and outs of constructing post frame buildings. Shortly after, Eric was running his own crew and worked another 5 years in the post frame building industry. He also spent a couple years with a local construction company honing his remodeling skills and paying attention to the advice and techniques of his elder co-workers.
It wasn’t until Eric’s wife Jen, with the news of twin boys soon to join the family, did he decide it was time to take control of his families future and start his own company. Eric owned and operated Early Construction for 10 years based in Plymouth and served all of Marshall Co. Hammer Enterprises was formed in late 2007.
Thru the years Eric has been a strong supporter of the kids activities and coached many of the young athletic teams in the area. One of his personal favorites is the local Boys & Girls Club. He appreciates the positive influence the club has been on his family and values the importance of having a safe, friendly environment where the children in this community can go and receive continued support of family values.
With the support of Eric’s wife Jen, and 3 boys; Taylor, Zakrey & Karter, he continues to strive to build a stronger company and support the community’s efforts to provide a positive future.
